My paintings are about assimilating memories; experiences and feelings merge into the act of painting.
I use oil colour, water colour, coal or pencil to create a vivid and vibrating surface, transforming the motives into abstract art work. I don’t want to simply illustrate but to catch a certain atmosphere, a feeling that the motives evoke.

Mes peintures sont une réinvention gestuelle des sentiments, des expériances de la vie quotidienne. Avec les couleurs de l’huile, du pastel et des crayons, je veux transformer les motifs dans des œuvres d’art abstrait. Je ne veux pas seulement illustrer, mais rendre l’atmospère particulière, des emotions, que les motifs suscitent.
